About Us
Mission Statement
Friends of the Florence County K9 Unit, Inc. is a nonprofit organization organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes
within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our mission is to financially support and assist the Florence County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit by helping provide essential equipment,
advanced training, and medical care for both active and retired K9s that protect and serve Florence County, Wisconsin.
Through donations, fundraising, and community support, we are committed to ensuring our K9 teams have the resources they need to
safely and effectively serve our community throughout their careers and into retirement.
Who We Are
Friends of the Florence County K9 Unit, Inc. is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization proudly supporting the Florence County Sheriff’s
Office K9 Unit. The Florence County K9 Unit is 100% supported through donations and fundraising efforts made possible by our
community, local businesses, and supporters. Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting the K9 Unit and its needs.
Our committee is made up of seven dedicated women who are passionate about supporting the handlers and K9s that serve Florence
County.

The Florence County Sheriff’s Office K9 teams work tirelessly to protect our communities through patrol operations, tracking, detection
work, and community outreach. We are honored to stand behind them and help ensure they have the tools, training, and care they
deserve.
